Description
Cherry (Prunus serotina) features heartwood in reddish brown to deep red, with brown flecks, and will naturally darken with age. It is stable, straight-grained, and has a decent strength-to-weight ratio, though it’s not as hard as some other denser domestic hardwoods. Cherry machines well with sharp tools and it is considered one of the best all-around woods for workability. These slabs are ideal for crafting unique dining tables, coffee tables, workbenches, desks, bar tops, dressers, countertops, and shelving. Each slab showcases the distinctive grain patterns and warm hues characteristic of cherry wood, making them a preferred choice for both functional and decorative pieces. Slab measures 1-1/4″ x 22″ x 45″ and has been surfaced both sides.
